In anticipation of Earth Day, creative agency Tea & Water collaborated with Microsoft to launch the Tree Potential Project. An AI-driven initiative aimed at mobilizing the public to safeguard our most critical defense against climate change—our forests.
Using satellite data interpreted by Microsoft AI and visualized with a 3D gaming engine, we created interactive layered maps of U.S. forests on microsoft.com.
Visitors can input their zip codes to locate their nearest forest, then interact to discover its distribution of trees and its current state of health, and donate to protect tree species in decline.
